DOGS CAN SAVE YOUR DEPRESSION

Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act.

Mostly, they just treat themselves stress whenever they feel anxiety, but the truth is they are in the symptoms of depressions.

In this time of Pandemic, actually during the lockdown, a month after, feeling of unusual comes in. The sleepless night, the worries on everything, the feeling of being alone, helpless, these are the factors where you decided to set down and stop what you are doing ’til you realize that you are setting for the long hour of nothing and out of your mind.

The reason why I come to these symptoms;

  • Feeling sad or having a depressed mood
  • Loss of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed
  • Changes in appetite — weight loss or gain unrelated to dieting
  • Trouble sleeping or sleeping too much
  • Loss of energy or increased fatigue
  • Increase in purposeless physical activity (e.g., hand-wringing or pacing) or slowed movements and speech (actions observable by others)
  • Feeling worthless or guilty
  • Difficulty thinking, concentrating or making decisions

Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home.

Until Aki and Taki come to my life. My dogs, yes my two little and lovable dogs.

These two made my days happy. Both of them playful and caught my attention time to time.

Their daily presence makes me laugh and being relax.

Thanks God! I did not come up in thoughts of death or suicide and fortunately, it is also treatable. Treatable by diverting your thought to a positive mind and make yourself busy to everything worth.

Dog as the ultimate man’s best friend can help you to conquer things beyond your expectation and can heal your anxiety.
